Walnut Coconut Ployes

For those who crave a different kind of dessert, try these out and smell that nutty aroma.


  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Walnuts, chopped
  • 2 Cups Shredded Coconut
  • 2 Cups Softened Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Glace Cherries
  • 8oz Cool Whip, thawed


Cream together butter and sugar. Spread mixture over ready cooked ployes. In a small bowl, combine walnut and coconut and sprinkle mixture over ployes. Place under broiler until coconut is golden brown. Be careful not to burn. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet. Before serving, add ice cream and roll or fold over. Sprinkle remaining coconut-walnut mixture on top and add cool whip and glace berries.
