Banana Nut Muffins

2 cups Ployes Mix
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup mashed bananas (about 2 medium)
1 cup chopped walnuts (If desired)
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease bottom of muffin pan. Beat eggs, stir in water and oil. Add remaining ingredients all at once until flour is moistened (batter will be lumpy.) Fill greased muffin cup about 3/4 full. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Immediately remove from pan.

Ployes Tacos

Prepare ployes as directed, make them a little bigger 7-8 inches, stack in a plate and set aside. 

1 lb. Ground beef
1 package taco seasoning mix 
2 diced tomatoes
1 diced onion
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 container sour cream
Brown ground beef, drain and add taco seasoning mix and prepare as directed on package. Place ployes on plate and add 2 Tbsp. of meat filling lengthwise in middle of ployes. Add cheese, tomato, onions, and lettuce.
Roll or fold over and top with sour cream.

 

Dessert Ployes

Prepare PLOYES as directed. 
Stack in a plate and set aside.

Filling:
12 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (or any other fruit)
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Combine cream cheese and berries add powdered sugar and mix well in food processor or with hand mixer. Spread 2 Tbsp. filling into each ployes. Roll ployes, tucking seam underneath. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. What a treat!

Ployes Burritos

1-1/2 cups Ployes mix to make 10 ployes (7" diam.)
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
2 cups refried beans
1 cup chopped onions
Cook Ployes, and keep warm. Place 2 Tbsp. refried beans lengthwise in middle of each ployes. Top with grated cheese and chopped onions. Roll ployes and place side by side in a lightly oiled 9 X 12 casserole. Microwave on high for 1 minute or until cheese melts- or bake in 350° oven for 20 minutes. To serve, cover with salsa and top with sour cream.

Veggie Roll-Ups

1 cup Ployes mix to make 6 Ployes (7" diam.)
1 tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, sliced thin (2/3 cup)
7-10 mushrooms, thick slices (2 cups)
1 cup each broccoli & cauliflower - bite-sized florets
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sauté onion and mushrooms in butter. Add garlic, cauliflower and broccoli, cook until florets are almost cooked through. Cook ployes and keep warm. Spoon about 1/2 cup filling in center of each ployes and roll up or fold over. Laddle cheese sauce over each serving.

Cheese Sauce

1/2 cup milk
4 oz. sliced processed American cheese
In a pan over medium heat, stir above ingredients until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
